With the iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture program, there is a globally recognized, standardized training and education scheme for software architects. The scheme consists of three training levels:
Foundation Level (since 2003)
Advanced Level (since 2012)
Expert Level (planned)
The associated curricula and exam questions are developed and published in Germany by the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB). Exams are offered and conducted by certification bodies commissioned by iSAQB. http://www.isaqb.org/)
oose and iSAQB
The oose eG has been a supporting member of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB) since its foundation. oose is an accredited training provider.
Preparation Course (Foundation Level)
Lebendige Softwarearchitektur mit Methode inkl. iSAQB-CPSA-F Zertifizierung
In this seminar, you will experience, through a concrete case study, how software architecture evolves comprehensibly in an iterative approach. The initial days focus on the methodological tools for architecture development. The fourth day is designed as preparation for certification, concentrating on the theoretical and technical foundations of software architectures. As the conclusion of the seminar, the exam for the iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture (Foundation Level) will be taken.
Preparation Courses (Advanced Level)
The CPSA-Advanced (CPSA-A) exam is not a multiple-choice test. Instead, you must independently work on an exam task and discuss your solution with examiners (interview). To register for the exam task, you need to demonstrate knowledge. The iSAQB curricula define the content in the form of different modules and across three competency areas. By attending our seminars, you have the opportunity to acquire the required knowledge and subsequently document it with the iSAQB in the form of earned "Credit Points" (CPs). Furthermore, our seminars empower you to methodically handle the exam task — "From Knowledge to Mastery."
Currently, the following seminars are licensed for CPSA-A; additional seminars are in preparation:
