As a trainer and consultant at oose, I specialize in the analysis of software, systems, and business processes using modern modeling languages like UML, SysML, RAAML, and BPMN. My focus is on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and I’ve helped several companies implement it. I share these hands-on experiences in my training sessions.
In my experience, a model becomes more valuable the more engineering activities it supports. For example, safety analysis can greatly benefit from being integrated into the system model from the very beginning.
I am actively involved in the Object Management Group (OMG) task forces for relevant standards like UML, KerML (SysML), the Risk Analysis and Assessment Modeling Language (RAAML), and BPMN. Additionally, I was part of the team that developed the new version of SysML 2.
In my free time, I work on a special system: a 50-year-old trimaran that provides an excellent platform for analyzing various system issues. After extensive work, it is now ready for longer sailing trips, such as to the Åland Islands.
