Pascal Moll is a freelance trainer and consultant specializing in test management, test automation, and Java development. With over 20 years of experience in IT, including more than 10 years in testing, he has successfully led a wide range of projects across various industries. Pascal’s industry expertise spans banking, insurance, public service, and construction.
Pascal is also deeply familiar with software development, having more than 10 years of experience as a developer, which he continues to apply daily in personal projects. One of his highlights is a personal voice assistant that processes voice input and output entirely offline on a Raspberry Pi.
As Pascal’s motto, "Why do things manually when they can be automated?" suggests, Pascal automates not only for testing purposes but also to simplify processes. Thanks to this expertise, he secured second place in the 2021 Freelancer of the Year competition. Pascal regularly shares insights as a university lecturer, in professional articles, webinars, podcasts, and blog posts.
As one of the first on the market, he offers Cucumber and Selenium training with hands-on exercises using virtual machines in the AWS Cloud. A browser is all that’s needed for full access to the training environment. Even with strict security limitations, the functionality remains fully usable, and the large number of exercises can be easily completed.
