As a consultant and trainer, I focus on the topics of requirements engineering, usability and user experience.
One of my formative experiences is that problems in the project process very often arise from poor or non-existent communication and not from complex technical issues. It is therefore always fascinating to experience how effective the job of a requirements engineer can be as a translator and mediator between the worlds.
Due to the different stages of my professional life in which I have worked as a developer, project manager, system administrator and system analyst in various industries, I can usually put myself in the different perspectives of the project participants very quickly and speak their language.
In my private life, I either pick up a pair of drumsticks and produce quality noise with my band or sit for hours on my racing bike and enjoy the almost silent gliding along.
