Description

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a key enabler for successful systems development. The Vision 2025 of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) states MBSE will become the norm for systems engineering. You learn and experience the foundations of MBSE in a compact, hands-on online training course.

From the system idea, the system requirements, and analysis to the system architectures, the course covers the common MBSE methodology SYSMOD with the international standard SysML. You will experience the content immediately in a practical case study, which you put together with the other participants during the course.

What you get

  • 6 live online modules for 4 hours each
  • Access to an MBSE microlearning program on the Gnowbe platform for 30 days
  • 1-hour private eCoaching with the trainer to discuss questions coming up after the training
  • Access to an MBSE learning community of participants moderated by the trainer
  • eBook SYSMOD – The Systems Modeling Toolbox, 3rd edition, MBSE4U, 2020.

Essentials from the SYSMOD Methodology:

  • Systems idea & objectives
  • Requirements
  • System context
  • System use cases incl. functional decomposition
  • Domain knowledge model
  • Physical architecture

Covered SysML diagrams:

  • Requirements diagram
  • Use case diagram
  • Activity diagram
  • Block definition diagram
  • Internal block diagram
  • Parametric diagram
  • State machine diagram
  • Sequence diagram

Variants

  • 4-day online or on-site training MBSE with SysML
  • 5-day online or on-site training MBSE with SysML plus OCSMP certification preparation or modeling of functional architectures with the FAS method.

If you have completed this training, you can book the Add-on OCSMP Model User Preperation Crash Course.

In-house training

You can also book this as an in-house training (company training). In this case, we currently conduct this training remotely (online training). Contact us and arrange an individual appointment!
